LINCOLN, NE — Today, Attorney General Mike Hilgers issued his endorsement of Tom Duden for the Lincoln City Council's Second District seat.
Duden made the following statement:
"I appreciate the confidence and support from our state's chief law enforcement officer and lawyer of the state of Nebraska, Attorney General Mike Hilgers. I look forward to serving the citizens of Lincoln with fidelity to our U.S. Constitution, State Constitution, and Nebraska law."
Duden is also endorsed by Lancaster County Attorney Pat Condon, Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner, Former State Patrol Colonel Tom Nesbitt, and Lancaster County Commissioner Matt Schulte, in addition to multiple other local retired law enforcement officers. He is the only Republican candidate for District 2 endorsed by the Lancaster County Republican Party.
